This is a wonderful account and thanks for writing about it. I have experienced, seen firsthand, and believe that psychedelics and guided low dose ketamine in particular can be an incredibly beneficial treatment for traumatic grief and PTSD. 🤍 Afterall, the grief is about severed connection, and finding an ongoing connection is paramount. Finding and sharing ways to feel this bond once it goes beyond the physical is so beneficial ✨
Fascinating. I love the fox appearance! I know some people who have had similar experiences. I might be able to get them to open up enough for me to write about them. Thank you for the inspiration.
This is really fascinating. I've had some interest in doing this. I wake up peaceful just dreaming about my son, Josh. I feel like I've actually spent time with him. I imagine the experience described here is even more therapeutic.
As a bereaved mother, I credit esketamine with salvaging what is left of my life. I have been using it at a treatment center twice a month for almost a year. It has eased the sudden, disabling anxiety that accompanied the suffering and loss of my adult daughter. I did a lot of research to discover this approach and had to propose it to my therapist, who knew nothing about it. I am always calmer and can think more clearer after treatments. Thank you for writing about this additional form of trauma therapy.
Thank you for sharing your experience with esketamine. Perhaps more therapists should be knowledgeable about these options in case a patient asks about them.

Thank you for reading, Leslie, and for sharing your thoughts. So many of the grieving parents I know are open to exploring this. There is such a need.
Love this. I’m glad she was able to do this, feel her daughter and know that their bond remained unbroken.
