Thank you Elizabeth, for taking the time to compile this list, and thanks for including me. I have forwarded it to several people who are new to Substack and will continue to share it. It's a great resource.
When I first came to Substack two years ago, I could only find one person writing about grief, and no bereaved parents. I was desperate to find anyone who could relate to what I was feeling. It is truly a lifeline to have a way to connect to others who understand. Thanks for your writing and work here.
Thank you so much for making this list! I didn't realize we have a whole community of bereaved parents. That means so much that we are able to reach out and support each other. I already have appreciated interacting with you and subscribing to your Substack. Now I look forward to being part of this grieving parents group. Although I wish none of us needed to be in it! Gratefully and affectionately, Julie
And you contributed greatly to the community by naming us and bringing us together! I appreciate the invitation for us to lean on each other! That means so much.
Thank you so much for including me and connecting all of us so beautifully. I look forward to reading and being inspired by more fellow mothers of spirit children✨
Elizabeth, Thank you so much for compiling this directory. I too have begun writing about the loss of my daughter and wife and being able to read this content from other grieving parents is inspiring. Love your content and looking forward to reading more.
I'm grateful to be among such talented, brave writers who are helping me live with my grief, write about it and discover new dimensions about life, death and love.
Thank you for including both Jason and myself on this list. I hope within these varied perspectives a griever on the path will find some comfort, humour, community or whatever else they may need. We are both open to direct messages.
Thank you for putting together this list and for including me on it. I have been looking for other writers discussing loss of a child on Substack and the algorithm hasn't been especially helpful. This is a fantastic resource!
I recognize a few on this list along with you Elizabeth that are making my writing journey easier. Poetry and storytelling is how I connect with my StarChild Alyssa. The Cosmic Gumball Machine is my Substack.
I would love to introduce you to one of my long-ago colleagues who writes about life after the loss of her son: https://substack.com/@jaynejacovafeld
Thank you Christine. I've added Jayne's Substack.
Thank you for telling us about this Substack. I just subscribed.

About to fall asleep and this post showed up. So glad to see this list. Thank you. I’d be grateful if you’d add my Substack, “Love in the Archives.”
